TEMPERATURE HARDENED CABLE MODEM MODULE
For aaplications that need to operate at extreme temperatures.
Orlando , Florida - June 18, 2007 - Electroline announced today that it has designed a temperature hardened Cable Modem Module. The module has an extremely small footprint that is less than 1.5 x 3 inches and is designed to comply with the DOCSIS® standard. It has the smallest footprint in its class.
The Cable Modem Module has application in a variety of HFC equipment and applications that include monitoring of power supply, RF Amplifiers, and fiber nodes, and used for communications and data transport in surveillance cameras, apartment lock boxes, wireless access points, wireless DOCSIS® network extentions, etc. Virtually any application requiring communications and that operate in the outside plant environment should use a hardened modem like Electroline's Cable Modem Module (ECMM). Electroline will work with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to assist the integration of this module into their unique application.
